Reading Goals for 2015

My goal this year is to read 50 books. I always do the Goodreads challenge but never actually achieved the goal but I'm hoping this year I do.

First, I want to finish series that I have already started. I have the Sookie Stackhouse, the Mortal Instruments and Infernal devices series to finish.

I also want to start new series. I have Meg Cabot's Vanished bindups, Beautiful Creatures and The Maze Runner to start.

I really want to read books that have been on my shelf for a long time. These are Gossip Girl, It Girl and Cum Laude by Cecily Von Ziegesar. Bitten, a bindup by R.L. Stine, Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game by Sara Shepard and two Jackie Collins books.

So this year, I want to read, young adult, new adult and adult books. My goal is to read different types of books that have in paranormal, dystopia, science fiction, chick lit, spiritual and personal self development.

My Top Ten Books of 2014

I read 38 books in 2014. I read different types of books including spiritual and personal self development. My top ten are all fiction books and they are not in any particular order.

1. Wait For You by J.Lynn
2. Just One Day by Gayle Forman
3. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
4. Divergent by Veronica Roth
5. Legend by Marie Lu
6. Afterlife by Claudia Gray
7. Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
8. The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper
9. An English Bride in Scotland by Lynsay Sands
10. Wild About You by Kerrelyn Sparks

Wait For You was the first New Adult book that I read and I loved it! I really want to read the rest of this series. Just One Day was fantastic! The Fault in our Stars was sad, Divergent was good and Legend was a page turner. I was happy to finally finish the Evernight series and Vampire Academy series. I know there is a fifth book in the Evernight series but I think it focuses more on another character. I love Claudia Gray and Richelle Mead's writing. I love reading Kerrelyn Sparks vampire books and Molly Harper's werewolf books. Those two are the adult paranormal books. I don't read many historical books but Lynsay Sands book is one that I would recommend to read. I really enjoyed it.
